Costs and Oversight
The district estimates that the proposed $121 million bond, if passed, would increase the tax rate by $1.50 per $1,000 of assessed value.
State Matching Funds
If passed, the State of Oregon will award a matching funds grant of $6.7 million to help fund Bond projects. The District would only receive the grant if the bond measure passes.
Oversight
An independent citizen Bond Oversight Committee would be established to oversee the use of bond funds if the proposed bond measure passes.
